At The Ranch

ranch map

Lake

In early morning, the dock in the middle of the lake is a great spot for yoga, meditation, or quiet introspection.  Later in the day, take a paddle boat or kayak out.  When it gets hot, go for a swim.  Fish for dinner later - Small Mouthed Bass and Crapies abound.

Old Town

To the north of the Great Hall you'll find a cluster of historic wooden buildings to explore.  There's a schoolhouse, a sheriff's office, and a smoke house.  The rest you'll have to explore yourself.

Chicken Coop

Dozens of hens and a few roosters welcome your visit.  Don't forget to check the roosts for fresh eggs.

Hiking trails

There are two hiking trails on the property - An 8 mile loop, and a moderately difficult hike up a hillside - the view is definitely worth the effort.  The historic Applegate Trail also runs through the ranch so you can hike the route wagon trains used in the 1800s.

Horse Barn

Meet our Equine and Camelid residents.  Horses, Llamas, a donkey and a burro.  Please be sure to close the gate so they don't get out.

Obstacle Course

Get from start to finish without touching the ground.  Not as easy as it sounds.

Sports Fields

The designated sports field is a great space for a game of football or soccer.  A granite basketball court and a volleyball court round out the complex.   There's also a Frisbee golf course on the far side of the lake.
